Nintendo may reign supreme when it comes to beloved game franchises, but Sega isn’t far behind. The company has been responsible for many IPs including the obvious (Sonic the Hedgehog) and the less so (Eternal Champions). Now they are wondering what you, the people, think. Admit that you read that in a Bane voice.
Sega took to Twitter with a link to their survey. Judging by current Twitter trends, there’s a lot of support for Phantasy Star. Both Phantasy Star 5 and Phantasy Star Online 2 has gained a lot of traction. There’s also some love given to the Yakuza and Jet Set Radio franchises.

One of the main parts of this survey to pay attention to is “Which games do you want to see more new content for?” There are some really beloved Sega properties represented here including run n’ gun shooter Gunstar Heroes, ninja side scroller Shinobi, and weapons-based beat ’em up Golden Axe. I’d choose all of the above, personally. But seeing an English localization of Phantasy Star Online 2 would be the dream. Jet Set Radio would be rad to see return also.
Which Sega properties do you hope to see make a comeback or just to see more of? Shoutout to us in the comments below!
