Persona 5 Strikers 1.3 million in worldwide sales

Atlus has announced that its action RPG Persona 5 Strikers has surpassed 1.3 million units in worldwide sales. To commemorate the occasion, Atlus launched a 35% off sale for the title on Nintendo eShop and PS Store in Japan.

Persona 5 Strikers was originally released in Japan as Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers for Switch and PlayStation 4 in February 2020. Persona 5 Strikers debuted with over 160,000 units in sales. The worldwide release followed about a year later in February 2021 for  Switch, PS4, and PC. While Atlus published Persona 5 Strikers on consoles in Japan, Sega handled the PC release on Steam.

The game’s story takes place about a year after the events of the original Persona 5. It follows the Phantom Thieves, who take on a new threat that takes them on a series of investigations across various parts of Japan. The gameplay mainly revolves around the hack-and-slash style of Koei Tecmo’s Warriors games. However, it also comes with a fair share of Persona elements such as Personas to summon and All-Out Attacks. You can get a look at the all-out action and more in an action trailer to get a better idea.

Persona 5 Strikers is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
