Paramount to allegedly release new Sonic movie trailer in next few weeks

Sonic Team leader Takashi Iizuka: It's up to Paramount to make Sonic movie successful

Fun fact: If nobody complained about how Sonic looked in the live-action film, it would be in theaters in just a few weeks. However, that’s not the reality we live in. Paramount has been hard at work in the last few months, recreating their Sonic design from scratch. Recently, we supposedly got a small glimpse of what this redesign could look like. But it sounds like we won’t have to wait much longer for official confirmation, as a brand new trailer for Paramount’s Sonic the Hedgehog movie will be dropping in the next few weeks.

This information comes from Luisito Comunica, who will be voicing Sonic in the Latin American version of the movie. Now, voice actors have been known to be wrong about these things in the past. Bill Farmer infamously announced the release date for Kingdom Hearts III would be 2015. So we should probably take this information with a grain of salt.

However, it has been some time since the original trailer. And if the new images of Sonic are real, then it stands to reason that Paramount is ready to show the film in motion soon.

What do you guys think of this? Do you think fans will be warmer toward the new design? Do you expect the Sonic movie to be good? Let us know what you think in the comments!

I love all kinds of video games. I personally find the most enjoyment in JRPGs, Visual Novels, and pretty much anything Nintendo makes. I'm always open to discovering new types of games, so I'll be happy to check out anything someone suggests.
