You remember Snake right? It’s come in many forms, but my most fond memory of it is playing it on my parents’ and grandparents’ old Nokia phones. There have been many forms and alterations of the classic since, but this new Nindie from Tree Men Games really shakes the concept up. And it’s called, Pako Caravan and it’s headed to the Switch.
In PAKO Caravan, you’re tasked with controlling a line of small trailers that will casually bop behind your little vehicle. As you collect more trailers, the caravan will grow longer, making your movements around the stage gradually more difficult as you try your best to avoid hitting obstacles as well as yourself. If you crash, it’s game over. Of course, the object is to see how much you can grow your caravan before smacking into something.
PAKO Caravan features over 100 missions to complete across 15 different levels. Each of these levels will have specific cars, tricks and missions. The missions involve completing tasks like mowing lawns for citizens of a town, or jumping over objects while you drive around.
This chaotic little title is already available on mobile devices, but now PAKO Caravan is being ported to the Nintendo Switch so you can enjoy it with proper controls. Perhaps that might make the game just a tad easier to manage. Not to mention that its colorful and clean visual style should look even better while being played on a larger display.
PAKO Caravan will be scooting its way onto the Switch eShop quite soon; March 2 to be exact. If this sounds up your alley, it can be snagged for a mere $7.99 via the Nintendo eShop.
We’ll try to secure a copy for review and tell you what we think. So, assuming all works out, be sure to check back in a few days for when that goes live.
