Earlier this month, Moon Studios announced that standard editions of Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps would be launching by the end of this year. As of this morning, however, this vague window has transformed into a specific launch date. Fans will be able to pick up these games on December 8th.
Each title will set you back $39.99, which is significantly more expensive than their respective digital versions ($19.99 for Blind Forest, and $29.99 for Will of the Wisps). That said, fans who pick up either of the physical editions will receive a few extra goodies to enjoy in the form of six collectible art cards and a digital copy of the game’s respective soundtrack. Of course, if you really want to go above and beyond to show your love of Ori, the $150 Will of the Wisps premium edition launches the same day.
Regardless of how you choose to experience Ori, critics and players agree that you should play these titles. Currently, Will of the Wisps is ranked third on Metacritic’s list of highest scoring Switch games of all time, with a score of 94, while Blind Forest is just a bit further down the list with a very respectable 90.
