Operation Brave Reaches 2000 Asking Square Enix To Bring Bravely Default: Flying Fairy To The West

Bravely Default originally released in Japan in October 2012, and is a spiritual successor to Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light. The game was created by Silicon Studio who are best known for the Zelda-inspired 3D Dot Game Heroes. The game is a very traditional RPG, but features heavy use of the 3DS’s Augmented Reality capabilities. Many RPG fans have fallen in love with the game, which hearkens back to the glory days of Final Fantasy. It reminds us most of Final Fantasy VI, which is a huge complement.

Hoping to capitalize on a fan movement, similar to the successes of Operation Rainfall, Operation Brave has launched a campaign to petition Square Enix to bring Bravely Default to Western gamers with an English localization. We wouldn\’t be reporting this id Operation Brave hadn\’t got off the ground, but encouragingly, the petition has now reached the 2000 mark. Now is the time to join your signature to those 2000 signatures and help the movement grow even larger.
