Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD is headed to Nintendo Switch

Oddworld Inhabitants have announced their once-Xbox exclusive game, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, is headed to the Nintendo Switch. The game was initially reported for an HD Wii U release back in 2013, but development was paused as of August 2015. No release date has been announced.

The 2005 shooter follows Stranger, a bounty hunter trying to earn “moolah” to pay for an operation. Players will journey through a bizarre Western-influenced atmosphere and encounter strange enemies, and stranger weapons.

Since its initial 2015 release, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath has been updated by developers Just Add Water and ported to PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, iOS and mobile. This is the second Oddworld title to release on Nintendo Switch, following Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty! It will be playable next week at EGX 2018.
