Earlier this week we reported that the indie title Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap sold the most on the Nintendo Switch. Well, turns out that isn’t the only indie success on Switch as of lately. FDG Entertainment, the publisher behind the Zelda inspired Oceanhorn confirmed the Switch version of the game sold more on Nintendo’s platform than all the other console ports combined. That’s a huge feat considering the Nintendo Switch has a very small install base in comparison to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and even PS Vita.
We can also confirm #Switch being a great home 4 Indies! #Oceanhorn sold more copies on #NintendoSwitch than all other consoles combined. <3 pic.twitter.com/bUzSoSeFWR

All we can hope is that indie games on Switch continue to thrive, as it’s the perfect platform to play them on.
