No Straight Roads, a music-based action adventure game, out August 25

No Straight Roads

No Straight Roads will use music as the foundation for its action-adventure antics when it releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Epic Games Store) on August 25. The game comes courtesy of publisher Sold Out and developer Metronomik. Check out the trailer below for a quick look at what this title is all about.

Additionally, here is a quick overview of No Straight Roads, which promises a musical adventure with massive bosses, upgradable characters, and eight different levels that each take after a different musical genre:

Take back Vinyl City—with rock! Embark on a music-based action adventure as indie rock band members Mayday and Zuke and lead a musical revolution against EDM empire No Straight Roads. After being unfairly rejected in their audition to join No Straight Roads, Mayday and Zuke uncover the evil intentions behind the NSR empire. It’s now down to them to save their city from corruption. Enjoy fast and frenetic combat with a musical twist as these two aspiring rock artists fight back with the power of music!

If you want to try out No Straight Roads right away, though, you can check it out now with a free demo on the Epic Games Store. You can also acquaint yourself with the game’s music – a soundtrack with selected tunes from the title is now available to download or stream from various digital stores and streaming services. Otherwise, just keep an eye on the game as launch approaches – this one looks pretty cool, and I’m sure that many of you will want it on your radar.
