Intergalactic sandbox game No Man’s Sky is one of the most famous “phoenix” stories in gaming. It was massively over-hyped and then painfully under-delivered at launch on PlayStation 4 and PC. However, developer Hello Games maintained a steady flow of updates, and eventually, it actually realized all its original ambitions and even achieved much, much more. So these days, No Man’s Sky is a celebrated game, and at the February 2022 Nintendo Direct, Hello Games announced that it is finally coming to Nintendo Switch with a summer 2022 release date window.
Here is the official info for No Man’s Sky on Nintendo Switch, plus its announcement trailer:
Explore an infinite universe where every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose! Build anything – from small outposts to complex multi-planet colonies. Scavenge for resources, recruit allies and fight to survive. This infinite, procedurally generated universe has unique places, creatures and more for you to discover. No Man’s Sky lands on Nintendo Switch this summer.
