Another week means more UK physical chart data, and unsurprisingly, Nintendo Switch software continues to thrive. Although it is slightly less than previous months, half of the games featured in last week’s top 10 are exclusive to Nintendo Switch. EA’s FIFA 21 is at the number one spot, following a heavy discount at most UK retailers. (Only a “legacy” version of the game released for Switch.) However, it is closely followed by Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which haven’t left the top 10 for a long time. Miitopia, which launched at the end of May, has managed to secure the 9th spot, and New Pokémon Snap is within the top 20 games, at spot number 17.

With more Nintendo Switch software on the horizon, it will be interesting to see whether or not the UK charts are dominated yet again. Mario Golf: Super Rush launches later this month on June 25, and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD launches next month on July 16.
