Nintendo will be performing some routine network maintenance on its servers soon. The next round of work is scheduled for Wednesday, May 23, 2018. This maintenance will exclusively affect Switch systems, so 3DS and Wii U players won’t have to worry. As to what’s exactly being worked, all Nintendo has had to say is that this has to deal with the “online play of some software” and will render “some network services unavailable.”
Here’s the schedule:
- May 23, 2018 – Switch – 6:50 PM to 8:30 PM (Pacific) / 9:50 PM to 11:30 PM (Eastern)
This maintenance isn’t very long, so it shouldn’t cause a lot of inconvenience. We’ll keep you updated in case more sessions are scheduled later this week.
