Nintendo Switch gets price drop in Canada

The Nintendo Switch is getting a price drop in Canada, as announced by Nintendo of Canada Limited in a press release.

The hybrid console originally had a $399.99 MSRP attached to it, but that has since been dropped to $379.99. The 20 dollar price drop will effect Canadian retailers immediately, including Walmart, Best Buy, EB Games, London Drugs, Toys R Us, Shoppers Drug Mart, The Source and Amazon.ca.

If you’re living in Canada, did the Switch’s original price tag keep you from purchasing the console? If so, will this newly unveiled price drop allow you to snag the system? Chime in below, let us know!
