Nintendo Switch Black Friday deals for games and accessories in 2021

Nintendo Black Friday deals at Best Buy in 2021

Best Buy’s best deals on Switch games include a $20 discount on a selection of first-party titles like New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe and Paper Mario: The Origami King. A few of the discounted games have sequels on the horizon, so locking down The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or Splatoon 2 now makes sense when you can save $20 along the way. Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is also discounted $40, bringing it down to the standard $60 price tag.

Big third-party games discounted include 2021 releases Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Persona 5 Strikers, and Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster. Sandisk memory cards will also be on sale, including a steep discount of over $100 for the 400 GB card, so those in need of extra storage should spring now while the getting’s good.

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Switch bundle from years past returns, though it does not include the new OLED model of the console. Those may be offered on Best Buy’s website, but buying one from them also requires a subscription to their TotalTech service, which at $200/year is a pretty steep price to pay for the opportunity to spend more money.

Below is a list of some of Best Buy’s Black Friday 2021 Nintendo Switch game and accessory highlights:

Sandisk Memory Cards for Nintendo Switch:

  • 128 GB – $20 (normally $68)
  • 256 GB – $55 (normally $100)
  • 400 GB – $65 (normally $180)

Nintendo Black Friday deals at Amazon in 2021

Amazon is also discounting first-party Nintendo games for Switch, though there seem to be a few more choices here like Kirby Star Allies and Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. Some of the deals are more dramatic too, like with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild being only $27.

Some notable third-party titles on sale include Bravely Default II and its 50% price cut, the Baldur’s Gate/Baldur’s Gate II Enhanced Edition double pack for $31, and Hot Wheels Unleashed at a $20 markdown.

There are a few accessories worth mentioning as part of Amazon’s big sale as well, including the PowerA Fusion Pro Wireless Controller for $15 off and the Enhanced Wireless Controller for $20 off. Amazon also has the Sandisk memory cards on sale, should you miss the boat with Best Buy — or if you just want to shop in your pajamas.

Sandisk Memory Cards for Nintendo Switch:

  • 128 GB – $20 (normally $35)
  • 256 GB – $40 (normally $53)

Nintendo Black Friday deals at Target in 2021

Target will be stocking the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe console bundle like Best Buy, so you have options if you’re looking to place the Nintendo Switch itself under your tree. Many of the first-party titles discounted elsewhere are also marked down here, making Target a great choice if you want to get everything you need under one roof.

Target also has a lot of headsets for Switch available for good prices, including the HyperX Cloud Stinger for $30 and the Roccat ELO X wired headset for $35.

Nintendo Black Friday deals at Walmart in 2021

Walmart has a lot of the deals you’ve seen already — including the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe console bundle, for starters — but there’s a catch: It’s subscribers to the Walmart+ service that can get the Black Friday deals right now. The discounts on first-party titles seem to be $5 more at Walmart than they are at some other retailers. Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, and Kirby Star Allies are among those on sale for $35 instead of $40.
