From time to time, Nintendo does in fact remember that things like “discounts” exist, at least for a little bit. Along those lines, it is offering a Nintendo Switch Black Friday bundle that includes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and three months of Nintendo Switch Online at no additional cost, meaning it is the typical $299.99 plus tax. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe comes via a digital download code as opposed to a physical cartridge, but it’s still a terrific deal for those who are looking for a Switch this holiday season.
Plus, beyond the Nintendo Switch Black Friday bundle, Nintendo Switch first-party games themselves are receiving Black Friday discounts for an unspecified period of time. Games including Super Mario Maker 2, Luigi’s Mansion 3, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Mario Tennis Aces, Yoshi’s Crafted World, Splatoon 2, and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe will all receive $20 discounts, making them $39.99. Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee! will be reduced to $29.99, and Minecraft Dungeons Hero Edition will only be $19.99.

Of course, due to COVID, what constitutes a “Black Friday sale” isn’t so clear anymore. Ongoing waves of terrific deals just keep coming and going at retailers like Walmart, Target, GameStop, Best Buy, and Amazon, so check back early and often at your favorite retailers for deals and availability. However, you should definitely take advantage of that Nintendo Switch Black Friday bundle and nab yourself free Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Nintendo Switch Online if you don’t already have all of it.
