Nintendo Showdown: Which Nintendo-exclusive Platinum game is best?

Nintendo Showdown Platinum Nintendo-exclusive

Welcome back to another edition of Nintendo Showdown! This is a weekly series at Nintendo Enthusiast, and it requires some audience participation. Every week we’ll compare two (or more) Nintendo games and pit them against each other in a showdown. Your votes decide the winner, so choose wisely. This week, to celebrate the upcoming launch of Astral Chain, we’re looking at Nintendo-exclusive adventures from Platinum.

Platinum is an independent developer, but they’ve repeatedly teamed up with Nintendo in recent years. The Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2, and Star Fox Zero are all the result of that partnership. Which of these games is the best Nintendo-exclusive from Platinum? Cast your vote in the poll below and help us decide!

Nintendo Showdown: Nintendo-exclusive Platinum games

A trio of Wii U games

The Wonderful 101 is a colorful, action-packed superhero adventure. Control an army of up to 101 heroes, then organize them into forms with the Wii U GamePad and attack! It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s one of the most unique and fun games on Wii U.

Bayonetta was a cult hit, but for years no major publisher was willing to fund a sequel. Thankfully, Nintendo swooped in and saved it from extinction. And it’s a good thing they did! Bayonetta 2 was a big hit with fans, and it’s currently the highest-rated game in Platinum’s lineup.

With those two titles under their belt, Platinum got a shot at one of Nintendo’s long-running franchises. Star Fox Zero was the first HD entry in the franchise and a fresh start for the franchise. It also came bundled with a tower defense game called Star Fox Guard.
