We’re nearing the end of 2021 (yes, really), which means it’s time for holiday savings. Nintendo makes around half its profits in the final quarter of the year, and Black Friday deals are a big part of that haul. Ahead of the big day, Nintendo has set up a web page with a sneak peek at their Black Friday deals for 2021, including $20 savings on a lineup of first-party Switch games. Read on to see what they’re offering so far!
Nintendo Black Friday deals 2021
Nintendo Switch (in its various forms) is still selling faster than Nintendo can manufacture it, so it’s no surprise that there aren’t many hardware deals. However, they’re trotting out the ol’ faithful Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle once again. You can get a Nintendo Switch with the evergreen racer and three months of Nintendo Switch Online (individual membership) for $300.
Nintendo Switch software $20 off
Nintendo also has a lineup of first-party games that are $40, $20 off the normal asking price. The lineup includes:
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
- Super Mario Maker 2
- The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
- Splatoon 2
- Paper Mario: The Origami King
- Kirby Star Allies
- Fire Emblem: The Three Houses
- Astral Chain
- Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition
Beyond this, Nintendo is also offering Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit for $60, which is $40 off the normal price. Finally, you can also buy Ring Fit Adventure for $55, which is a savings of $25. Nintendo will update with a list of retailers participating in these Black Friday Switch deals at a later date.
Needless to say, games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Astral Chain are must play games to pick up during Nintendo’s Black Friday deals in 2021.
