New Switch Stand from CyberGadget is Perfect for Tabletop Charging

One of the minor design flaws of the Switch is that it’s impossible to charge the system when using it in tabletop mode. This may not be an issue for everyone, but some folks have had trouble with it from time-to-time. If this happens to be a regular problem for you, then this new stand from Japanese accessory-maker CyberGadget may just be for you.

As you can see, this collapsable Switch stand elevates the system off a flat surface, thus allowing you to be able to plug in a charger with ease. The raised height can also make playing a little bit more comfortable since you won’t have to tilt your head as far down as you normally would with just the kickstand. An interesting thing about this stand is that the little grips also allow you to flip your Switch around in a vertical/portrait orientation and use it that way, if a game happens to support it.

According to the product description for this from Japanese-retailer Gamer, the angle of the stand has 7 points of adjustment, so you’ll be sure to find a setting that best matches any playing environment. This new CyberGadget Switch stand launches on March 8 in Japan.
