New SNES Classic Edition units pop up in ASDA stores

Remember about two years ago when Nintendo set the world into meltdown mode over the NES Classic? Well, they made sure to do it a year later with the SNES Classic. Both miniaturized, throwback systems were produced in limited quantities. That, of course, further added to the craziness that just their sheer popularity alone had generated. If you missed out on getting the chance to pick up the SNES Classic in particular, then the opportunity to do so has once again presented itself.

ASDA locations over in the UK are responsible for running this special deal.  It’s unclear exactly how long this will last, so you better act fast.  It’s a shame that there are not any ASDA stores in North America so shoppers there could also take advantage of this. Still, you can have one imported.
