New Pokémon Sword and Shield info to come in next CoroCoro

Pokémon Sword and Shield news next month

In the latest issue of Japanese manga publication CoroCoro Ichiban, it was confirmed via Serebii that we’ll be seeing more Pokémon Sword and Shield news in the next issue. However, the magazine is slated for release on June 21, a week after E3. So it’s very likely most of the news we’re getting will be revealed before then.

Pokémon Sword and Shield were revealed for the Nintendo Switch back in February. We got to see the Galar region and its beautiful landscapes, as well as three new starter Pokémon.

Since then, we’ve gotten little-to-no information about the game. However, there’s been a ton of fan art for the game already, including pieces from one of Detective Pikachu’s artists.

Fans have also been speculating what new things we’ll see in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Our own Jeffrey McDonell made a list of features he would like to see in the game.

It’s hard to say what we’ll be seeing from Pokémon Sword and Shield. Will we see more influence from the Pokémon: Let’s Go games? Will the game ditch all concepts introduced in those games?

Either way, it’s good to know more news about these games is right around the corner. Let us know what you’re most excited to see in the comments below!

I love all kinds of video games. I personally find the most enjoyment in JRPGs, Visual Novels, and pretty much anything Nintendo makes. I'm always open to discovering new types of games, so I'll be happy to check out anything someone suggests.
