In 2020, when physical events ceased to exist and everyone on Earth rushed to create their own digital video game showcase, two sets of opinions emerged: “This is great! More game announcements all the time!” and “This is horrible. I don’t want to watch another two hours of announcements.” Whichever side of that fence you’re on, buckle up, because we might be in for a repeat: New Game+ Expo (NGPX) is returning on March 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. ET. Via Gematsu, the following largely Japan-centric developers will be part of the conference:

Notably, the original New Game+ Expo aired in June last year, so this second edition of the event is coming quite early in 2021. (The official website still doesn’t even have this new info published yet.) Still, it’s currently anyone’s guess what games will be shown off with as diverse a range of developers with as diverse a range of IPs. Koei Tecmo might always have another Musou in the works. Natsume has a Harvest Moon for every day of the week. Arc System Works could have something to say about Dragon Ball FighterZ. GungHo hasĀ Ninjala andĀ Volta-X. And it sure would be nice if Inti Creates somehow got to make the Zelda II remake that its CEO has his heart set on.

What are your predictions for this abrupt March 2021 edition of New Game+ Expo?
