More Network Maintenance Slated for Switch, Wii U and 3DS on Feb. 5

Just recently, Nintendo scheduled a routine round of network maintenance for the Switch and 3DS. Now, the company has added an additional maintenance period that will be taking place late in the evening on February 5th. This maintenance period will affect Wii U systems, in addition to Switch and 3DS.

Here’s the timetable:

• FEBRUARY 5, 2018 – Switch, Wii U & 3DS – 8 PM to [FEB. 6] 1 AM (Pacific) / 11 PM to [FEB. 6] 4 AM (Eastern)

This maintenance will affect “online play of some software”. Nintendo has not mentioned exactly what the affected titles will be, simply only saying that “some network services may become unavailable” during the maintenance period. This one is relatively lengthy, so it’s good that it’s been scheduled to take place late in the night.
