Mortal Kombat 11 crushes skulls on Switch in April

Mortal Kombat 11 for Nintendo Switch

Good morning, and brace yourself for one of the biggest pieces of news from the Game Awards: Mortal Kombat 11 is launching on Apr. 23, and it’s heading to all major consoles, including Nintendo Switch. The game is available for preorder now, and those who preorder will receive Shao Kahn and beta access. Mortal Kombat 11 will also receive a “community reveal event” on Jan. 17. Below, you can see the announcement trailer for the game from NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros.

It’s been a long time since I played Mortal Kombat (because I’m amazingly bad at fighting games), so if I were to describe the trailer, it looks like a big scripted battle between Scorpion, Raiden, and… another Scorpion? Anyway, enjoy! And let us know if you are psyched to see this beautiful, gory game come to Switch.
