Monster Hunter Rise and Stories 2 news coming in a live stream next week

Capcom has announced that the May 2021 edition of its Monster Hunter Digital Event will take place next week, and it will have more news on Monster Hunter Rise and Stories 2. The digital event will be available for people to check out on the official Monster Hunter YouTube and Twitch, starting at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET on May 26, 2021.

The developers will share the latest news for both Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2 during the broadcast. The focus for Monster Hunter Rise will be on the upcoming ver. 3.0 update. The 3.0 update will require approximately 1.4 GB of storage. Those updating for the first time will need 2.9 GB. As for Monster Hunter Stories 2, we’ll get the latest news on the turn-based RPG ahead of its launch in July.

Capcom revealed three returning monsters in Chameleos, Kushala Daora, and Teostra for Monster Hunter Rise‘s ver. 2.0 update during the April 2021 digital event. For Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, we got to check out a new trailer that showed the return of Lilia and Reverto from the first game and a look at the packaging for new amiibo figures.

Monster Hunter Rise is immediately available for Nintendo Switch and will release for PC in early 2022. Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin‘s worldwide release date for Switch and PC is July 9, 2021.
