The devs over at Moon Studios have earned their fair share of fans with Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps. That’s why many are chomping at the bit to see what they make next. We don’t know what that looks like just yet. At the end of last year, we found out that their next project is an action RPG that they hope will be “revolutionary,” and we’ve seen job postings requesting familiarity with series such as The Legend of Zelda, Dark Souls, and Diablo. Today, while we didn’t learn anything new about the game itself, we did find out that Private Division will be publishing. Many of you may be recently familiar with Private Division due to their involvement with The Outer Worlds on Switch.

So, what’s this all mean? As industry analyst @BenjiSales pointed out on Twitter, Private Division’s involvement is a good indication that Moon Studios plans to go fully multiplatform with its next game. That’s significant after both Ori games launched as Xbox exclusives, and means that the Switch faithful shouldn’t put away those hopes just yet.
Moon Studios, the creator's of the Ori franchise have signed a publishing deal with Private Division
The game is an action RPG. Previous job listings asked for familiarity with Zelda, Dark Souls, and Diablo. With PD publishing this should mean the game is fully multiplatform https://t.co/0YRDAl28Zn
