Minecraft Dungeons: Hidden Depths DLC gets May release date

Minecraft Dungeons Hidden Depths

Mojang Studios and Microsoft have announced a new free update for Minecraft Dungeons, alongside the release date for the upcoming paid DLC called Hidden Depths. Minecraft Dungeons: Hidden Depths will launch on Nintendo Switch and other platforms on May 26, 2021. Players will be facing a spreading corruption that has reached the depths of the ocean. The new update will also feature three new enchantments, new levels, and Raid Captains — challenging new enemies that will appear throughout the game’s levels.

This game has received plenty of DLC since launch already, including The Flames of the Nether, Howling Peaks, Creeping Winter, and Jungle Awakens. All of these content packs are available on the Nintendo Switch eShop, with some of them being included in the game’s season pass.

More information is currently available on the Minecraft Dungeons website, which explains what this new adventure entails. There’s not long to wait before the update and the Hidden Depths release date in Minecraft Dungeons, so get excited to explore more areas. The game has improved massively since launch, as criticism was directed towards the game’s lack of content (though we found it to be a solid Diablo-lite experience). Are you excited for this new Minecraft adventure?
