What’s one Nintendo classic that you still need to play?

Nintendo has made a lot of great games over the years. It’s borderline impossible to have played them all – we’ve all got a few blind spots in our Nintendo play history. It could be a game you’ve never been able to acquire, a game in a genre you don’t normally enjoy, or just something you haven’t gotten around to knocking off of your backlog. What’s a particularly notable Nintendo classic that you still have to play?

Metroid Prime is an obvious one for me, along with its two direct sequels. I haven’t played very many games in the Metroid series – I’ve only beaten Metroid: Other M and Super Metroid. I’ve had a copy of Metroid Prime for over fifteen years, so I don’t really have a good excuse for having let it sit this long. I just haven’t gotten around to it. It’s one of many games that I’m very, very excited to play someday. Some other big ones for me are Super Mario Bros. 3The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, along with many more.

What Nintendo classic have you still not played? Why haven’t you gotten around to it yet? Let us hear it in the comments section below.
