Metro Redux for Switch pops up on Portuguese retailer site

Metro Redux Switch

4A Games’ Metro series might be heading to Nintendo Switch. A listing for Metro Redux was spotted on Portuguese retailer GamingReplay’s site. The listing was removed but not before a screenshot was taken by Wccftech. The game was listed as 44.99 €, or about $50 USD. Box art and a date of Dec. 1 were also given, but these are likely to be placeholders.

Metro Redux is a collection of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. Originally released in 2014, the collection passed over the Wii U in favor of just about every other option. This may also lead the way for the most recent release, Metro Exodus, which released earlier this year on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

The post-apocalyptic shooters envision a bleak nuclear winter in Russia. The player must survive horrible mutants, radioactive hellscapes, and the true horrors of humanity. If you’re a fan of survival horror, the Switch is starting to build one hell of a library.

Game leaks are pretty common but should always be taken with a grain of salt. Although, I wouldn’t be surprised if we suddenly saw an official age rating for Metro Redux, further corroborating the rumor. Recently there was a handful of new ratings pointing towards quite a few ports coming to the Switch. For right now, all we can do is sit tight and wait.
