Melty Blood: Type Lumina adds Noel from the Tsukihime remake

Type-Moon and French Bread revealed Noel as another playable character for Melty Blood: Type Lumina. If you played previous Melty Blood games and the Tsukihime visual novel and wondering who Noel is, she’s a new character introduced in the Tsukihime remake.

Noel appears as a new character exclusive to a timeline from the Tsukihime remake. She’s a foreign teacher who transfers to Shiki’s school and stands against blasphemers as an executor for the Holy Church. Noel might not have the battle experience as Ciel, but she’s always ready to throw down, especially against those blasphemers. She claims to be “weak against the strong, but overwhelmingly strong against the weak.”

She uses her appeal as an older woman to be popular with the boys at school, but the girls don’t seem to like her. The teacher also seems to idolize love and marriage, which makes her come across as not having much luck with either. In Melty Blood: Type Lumina, she fights using her long halberd0like polearm as her weapon of choice. The gigantic weapon provides her with a long reach to keep opponents at bay.
