Rambo is inbound as the next big character for Mortal Kombat 11, becoming part of next month’s Ultimate release. Last week, NetherRealm Studios showcased the new fighter in a gameplay trailer, which saw one badass dude use one gory-as-hell fatality move. Now, the team is asking us to “meet Rambo” in a new trailer.

It’s not the most welcoming of introductions. This week’s video clip sees Rambo, voiced by Sylvester Stallone himself, destroy even more enemy fighters. We’re reminded that what Rambo really means is “one man army,” which is certainly reflected in the trailer. We particularly enjoyed him take on the Terminator, which will be a fitting matchup once Rambo is released.

We’re continually impressed with the attention to detail surrounding the Rambo character. In the last trailer, we caught a glimpse of the various movie outfits he can adorn himself with. These include meticulously recreated attire from the movies First Blood and Rambo III. This time around, we see the guy open up a portal somehow that links his Mortal Kombat 11 appearance back to the Rambo universe.

Rambo will launch as part of the Kombat Pack 2 DLC next month. This pack is included in the upcoming Ultimate release too, which launches the same day as the DLC on Nov. 17. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate also contains all previously released DLC.
