Marth Confirmed for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS

With some of the sharpest swordsplay in the series, the fabulous Marth from Fire Emblem makes his returning appearance in today’s official Smash Bros. update.

The best Fire Emblem has to offer returns with style, as always, as the newest returning member reveal for Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U. In a number of his screenshots, Marth executes what looks like his down-smash attack, as well as his down-b counter and his up-b Dolphin Slash. We even get a glimpse of a part of Marth’s side-b Dancing Blade, which strikes Olimar and his Pikmin with ferociousness in another shot. Even his sword-pointing taunt makes a return again.

However, within the screenshots, we unfortunately miss any signs of a new Fire Emblem stage. Additionally, most of the shots are from the Wii U version of the game, while it is likely that if a new Fire Emblem stage does appear, it\’ll be on the 3DS version since Fire Emblem: Awakening was released on that platform.

Marth’s announcement has already gotten a lot of love, but what say you about today’s reveal?
