Among the debilitating tragedy that is the coronavirus, social isolation has been invigorating video game sales in China. Nintendo Switch only recently became available in the region last December, and now two of its best-selling games, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odyssey, will be releasing there soon.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe originally released in April of 2017, only a few weeks after the Switch launched. October of 2017 saw the release of Super Mario Odyssey. After almost three years, the Chinese audience will be able to finally play these excellent games on March 16.
The information comes by way of Daniel Ahmad, an analyst who covers the games market in Asia.
After receiving approval by China's gaming regulator, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odyssey will receive an official launch in China on March 16th.

Super Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are considered two of the best titles on the Nintendo Switch system, and they’ve ranked quite highly on sales charts. With the release in just a few days and as more games get pushed through the approval process, we can probably expect to see more of Nintendo’s prestigious first-party titles getting released soon.
Outside of China, in one more week, we will finally be able to play the long-awaited Animal Crossing: New Horizons. We’ll have all the content you’ll need for when it releases, but in the meantime you can use this tool to design your island.
