Lumines Remastered on Switch sold best

It has been surprising to see so many developers announce that their game sold best on the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo’s recent history of poor third-party support would suggest otherwise.  This success has been especially prevalent among indie titles. Today, we can add another game to the pile. Lumines Remastered sold best on Switch compared to other platforms. The game is also out on PS4, XBO, and Steam.

The news came in a recent episode of the Game Informer Show, where Enhance Games’ Tetsuya Mizuguchi was asked which platform Lumines Remastered sold best on.

The second part of the question was even more impressive. As a follow-up, Game Informer asked whether the game sold better on Switch “by a mile.” Enhance’s Vice President of Production and Business Development, Mark MacDonald, answered in the affirmative.

It is always nice to see games performing well on the Switch. This is especially true if it is the console where a game saw a lion’s share of its success.

Lumines Remastered is available for $14.99 from the eShop.
