Lost in Random story trailer shows off an utterly beautiful EA Original

Lost in Random story trailer Zoink EA Original Originals Electronic Arts Nintendo Switch

Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Zoink have shared a story trailer for Lost in Random, a gothic fairy tale action adventure first announced for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC last year at EA Play Live 2020. And judging by how amazing the visuals are, one must wonder if PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions are in the cards as well. It’s a tragic foregone conclusion that it won’t look like this when it comes to Switch, anyway.

Regardless, the story of Lost in Random involves Even and her ally Dicey, an ancient living die, who are trying to break the curse of the black dice and rescue Even’s sister, Odd. The evil Queen has divided the kingdom of Random into six realms governed by the whims of the dice, and only through embracing chaos can Even survive dangerous encounters, navigate shifty characters, and overcome “mysterious game arenas that shift with every dice throw.”

Even if the graphics do take a hit in the conversion to becoming a Nintendo Switch game, Lost in Random still has the chance to look highly distinctive and attractive with its Tim Burton-esque visual style, which is on full display in the story trailer. Keep an eye out for Lost in Random as it is expected to launch later in 2021.
