Publisher Koch Media and developer 1C Entertainment have opened preorders for King’s Bounty II and revealed a variety of special and collector’s editions for retail and digital. There is also, somehow, an official preorder trailer, even though it doesn’t discuss preordering almost at all. Anyway, there are two physical King’s Bounty II versions, the Day One Edition and King Collector’s Edition, and there are three digital versions, the Day One Edition, Lord’s Edition and Duke’s Edition.

Preorders of any version of King’s Bounty II come with the digital Day One Edition Pack, which includes a unique Armored Princess’s Shield, Elite Guard Premium Pack, Firehand Golems, Hounds of War Warhorse, and Flaming Eagles. The digital Lord’s Edition adds the Rod of Deception, Frosthammer, Staff of Harmony, Tyrant’s Sword, Armor of the Hollow, and Heroes & Villains Premium Pack. The Duke’s Edition includes a digital art book and soundtrack but is only available through Steam and Epic Games Store.

Finally, the King’s Bounty II King Collector’s Edition includes a physical crown, double-sided poster, 36-page hardcover art book, and soundtrack (pictured below). However, at present, it does not seem this version is actually available to preorder yet, and the game is not yet available in any version on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Keep your eyes peeled for whichever version you’re interested in. The game launches on Aug. 24 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
