Japan: ‘Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ Sold Better On Switch Than PS4

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is selling well on Nintendo Switch. In fact, it has already moved more units than the Playstation 4 version in Japan, according to Nintendo Soup.

In Japan, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has sold 108,227 units on Playstation 4. The Nintendo Switch version of the game has surpassed 110,000 copies, putting it at 110,217 units overall.

What this news story gives me hope for is Bandai Namco to consider Dragon Ball FighterZ on Switch. The developer said they were taking a wait and see approach with Switch, and now it seems as though their games are selling well. If Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 sold this well, I can’t imagine how popular Dragon Ball FighterZ could be.
