Indigo 7 offers a teen comedy story with puzzle gameplay inspired by Puyo Puyo Tetris and 7 Colors

Indigo 7

Indigo 7: Quest for Love is a new puzzle adventure game releasing on Switch on July 8, courtesy of Dolores Entertainment. The game promises an interesting combination of a comic book-style teen comedy story, which follows the adventures of Nathan and his band, and puzzle gameplay that takes inspiration from Puyo Puyo Tetris and 1991 puzzle title 7 Colors. See how it all comes together in the trailer below.

The single-player adventure teaches players the ins and outs of the puzzle gameplay through thirty-two different levels. Your central goal in Indigo 7 is to take over the color-based tile board before your opponent can, but with a variety of rules based on color, time, and more, there is plenty of room to customize your game experience to your liking. While the game’s single-player mode might be over quickly, the customization options thankfully promise to shine in the game’s head-to-head multiplayer mode.

The developers have also put a lot of work into making the story in Indigo 7 shine. The comic book art style fits well with the game’s chapter-based approach to storytelling, and the talented voice cast featuring actors that have previously appeared in series like Hazbin Hotel and games like Persona 5: Royal and Genshin Impact should make each character pop.
