Immortals Fenyx Rising ver. 1.1.0 out now, teases A New God DLC

Fenyx Rising Update

Ubisoft has released a software update for Immortals Fenyx Rising, with version 1.1.0 including fixes, activities, and support for the first DLC expansion, A New God. Those of you who purchased the Gold Edition or Season Pass will be able to experience A New God when it supposedly launches on Jan. 21 (if an eShop listing is correct). It will also likely be available to purchase separately. The patch notes detail various bug fixes and stability improvements, as well as multiple localization fixes.

Although there is at least a little bit of time to go before the first DLC expansion launches, Ubisoft has teased a short playable demo that is included with the title update. This is exciting as it will allow us to experience a quest that will tie into the full release. Hopefully, we’re in for some more witty dialogue and interesting mission design. Immortals Fenyx Rising revels in its use of Greek mythology, so I’m excited to experience the DLC for myself.

Immortals Fenyx Rising launched on Dec. 3, 2020. In our review, we called it “an excellent riff on Breath of the Wild.” The game has some of the most hilarious writing that we’ve seen in a video game and offers a fun open-world experience, and it’s available for Nintendo Switch and basically every other platform under the sun.
