Immortals: Fenyx Rising launches in December with an open world rooted in Greek mythology

Immortals Fenyx Rising demo release date December Ubisoft Forward Ubisoft eshop sale

The second Ubisoft Forward has begun, and this time, it actually has Nintendo Switch news. Immortals: Fenyx Rising received an official world premiere trailer in addition to a second video just describing what is in store in the game. It will launch on Dec. 3 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Stadia.

Immortals: Fenyx Rising is a third-person open-world action adventure set in the landscape of Greek mythology, and you can choose from the outset where you would like to go. Protagonist Fenyx is shipwrecked on a golden isle but meets Hermes, one of the few remaining gods of Olympus. Only Fenyx can reclaim the land from the Titans, and you have to travel to different areas to support different gods. Incidentally, you get to decide what your Fenyx looks like too.

Take a look.

In Immortals: Fenyx Rising, you can expect to fight all the sorts of cool beasts you remember from Greek mythology, including Cyclops, Medusa, and the Minotaur, and you’ll even “confront corrupted heroes such as Achilles.” You’ll have special tools to help you do battle though, including “the wings of Daidalos, the sword of Achilles, the bow of Odysseus, and more, as well as legendary powers that will help turn the tides of battle.

I’ve stated before how I’m not much of an Ubisoft guy, but this game looks like something even I can get behind. Here’s to hoping the Ubisoft Forward event is filled with more promising titles like this.
