Horror adventure game Elysion: Feeling of Release heads to Switch this spring

Developer utp has announced that its zombie horror adventure game Elysion: Feeling of Release will get a Nintendo Switch release this spring in Japan. The Nintendo Switch version will be fully voiced, and it will also have newly redrawn illustrations.

Elysion: Feeling of Release was originally released for PC back in May 2017. The story follows a girl who wakes up in a dimly lit storeroom inside of a decaying church. She has lost her memories and needs to explore the spooky church for clues. The door outside is shut tight and there’s no way out, but she meets a mysterious white-haired boy who seemingly appears out of nowhere. Will he help retrieve her memories and find a way out, or…?

Here’s the announcement tweet with a look at the cover art for the Switch version:

There’s currently a second entry in the series called Elysion 2: Genes of the Saints that was released for PC in August 2020. The third entry, Elysion 3: The ends of the feelings, is currently in development. Utp has only announced the first game for Switch, but we’ll likely get the others on Switch later.
