Here’s your first look at the Switch version of Ubisoft’s Sports Party

For some reason, Ubisoft has decided that it’s a good idea to revive one of its most random releases from the Wii era: Sports Party. The Wii Sports Resort-clone of a title will be making its way to the Switch later this year with all-new visuals. Those new visuals are being shown off clearly with the first set of in-game screenshots being released courtesy of the game’s listing on Amazon Japan.

The visuals do look like a decent step-up over the original Wii version of the game. But, of course, what matters most is whether or not it will truly be any real fun to play. Unlike the Wii, the Switch doesn’t have a massive plethora of sport-based minigame collections, so perhaps this might get a viable second wind this time around.

According to the listing, Sports Party should be launching on Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2018.
