Guitar Hero Live Announced for Wii U

Activision has announced Guitar Hero Live for release on the Wii U, as well as the PS3, PS4, XBO, 360, and select mobile devices. The game will be released in the fall of this year.

The developer of Guitar Hero Live is FreeStyleGames, a studio previously known for DJ Hero and DJ Hero 2. The game will cost $99.99 when it launches this fall.

Guitar Hero Live will also feature a new controller. Rather than the guitar place all the buttons on a single row, Guitar Hero Live’s controller will feature six button, distributed across two rows. Another change is that Guitar Hero Live will feature gaming from a 1st-person rather than a 3rd person perspective.
