GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will have a substantial patch available on Switch within a few days. Recently released on Switch to very middling reception, the remastered trilogy has drawn heavy ire due to an incredibly poor port job. Rockstar has apologized for the glitchy debacle and promised to fix the ports through updates, one of which will be available on Switch “in the coming days,” according to Rockstar.
Even though the GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition patch is not ready just yet, Rockstar has already shared patch notes. They’re a doozy, which is no surprise considering the poor condition of the games. If you would like to read the notes at length, you can view them in full on Rockstar’s support page.
Most of the tweaks and additions are entered on a game-by-game basis, though general stability improvements and a cinematic camera are added across the board. If you look at specific game changes, you will see that the patch addresses several mission-specific glitches across all three games in GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, along with many general issues that plagued the passive gameplay in each title.
