GRID Autosport isn’t releasing physically on Switch after all

A few days ago, we reported that a retailer posted a listing for GRID Autosport on Switch. The listing indicated that a physical version of the game was set to release within the next few weeks. It turns out that this actually is not the case.

Feral Interactive, the development studio behind the port of GRID Autosport on Switch, reached out to us to confirm that the retailer’s listing was false. The company states that it has “no current plans to release a physical version of the game.” However, it also mentions that “should the situation change, it will be announced on our website and our social media channels.”

GRID Autosport launched on the Switch eShop back in September 2019. One new development that is surrounding it is that support for online multiplayer and also the Nintendo Labo Racing Wheel is set to come sometime this year via an update. Exact details on the release of that update have yet to be given by either Feral Interactive or Codemasters, the publishers of GRID Autosport.
