Ghosts ‘n Goblins, Monster Hunter join Smash Ultimate as Mii Fighter DLC

To coincide with the releases of Monster Hunter Rise and Ghost n’ Goblins: Resurrection, today’s round of extra Mii Fighter costume DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is all about Capcom!

The Rathalos Equipment and Hunter’s Equipment return from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. These will deck out your Mii Swordfighter with the perfect look to take on Rathalos and other beastly fighters among Ultimate‘s roster. With these, a new Felyne hat is available for all Mii Fighters. Retro enthusiasts can also take on the look of Arthur, Ghosts n’ Goblins‘ renowned hero with a knack for wardrobe malfunctions.

Now the only old third-party Mii Fighter costume yet to return is Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia… Will he meet the same terrible fate as Geno did before him, or may he yet rise to prominence in either of the remaining Challenger Packs for Fighters Pass Volume 2? Only time will tell. That said, I can’t say I’m not sad at missing out on Xeno representation with the Mii Fighter costume DLC. Ones based on Fei or KOS-MOS would’ve been cool to see, but oh well, maybe next time!

The Monster Hunter and Ghosts n’ Goblins Mii Fighter costumes come to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with Pyra/Mythra of Challenger Pack 9 later today.
