Ghostrunner, a cyberpunk-themed game that focuses on ninja-style parkour and assassination, has been updated to Version 1.2 on PC and Switch. The news comes from the game’s official Twitter account. Check out the tweet here, or simply read the full message below.
Greetings Ghostrunner, we’re here to let you know that we released a patch for PC and Nintendo Switch last week. We added an instant restart hotkey feature that many of you requested, a new main menu, and an epilepsy warning. The patch fixes several issues with geometry, lighting particles, and gameplay. If you still encounter any of these issues, please let us know.
After Ghostrunner was initially supposed to release in October, it ate a short delay and only ended up releasing a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, the delay was clearly not enough time to stamp out a handful of important issues, but with Version 1.2, Ghostrunner seems to have moved several steps closer to becoming a complete package. The lighting, geometry, and gameplay fixes should all go a long way toward a stronger user experience, and the instant restart hotkey should make plenty of players happy.
Have you picked up Ghostrunner on Switch? What do you think of it? If you’ve tried out Version 1.2, how do you feel about the differences? Sound off in the comments below.
