Big news: an upcoming cyberpunk-style game was just delayed – no, not that one – well yes, that one, but here, I’m talking about Ghostrunner, a cyberpunk action-adventure title that was initially slated to release on Switch this month. The news comes from the game’s official Twitter account. Check out the tweet below.
The Nintendo Switch version faces a slight delay into November, as the Ghostrunner teams want all players to have the best possible experience with the game. The final date will be announced in the coming days, so please stay tuned for more information.

This is a strange way to reveal a delay, but I guess we’ll hear a bit more about what’s going on with the Switch version of Ghostrunner soon. With any luck, the delay will not be too bad – it’s hopefully just a bit of bug squashing. In the meantime, if you haven’t heard of the game yet, you can catch up by watching the Switch release date trailer below. The October date is now obsolete, but the platforming gameplay still looks quite awesome.
Are you disappointed to see Ghostrunner delayed on Switch? Will you be picking it up on the platform when it does come out? Let us know all about your hype for the game and if you’ll still be picking it up in what’s shaping up to be a very crowded November (even if the game is filling a cyberpunk-shaped hole that was recently left in the November gaming sphere).
