GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon is out now on Switch eShop

GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon out now Nintendo Switch launch trailer Konami GuruGuru

At the February 2022 Nintendo Direct, Konami announced that GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon is available now on the Nintendo Switch eShop. GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon is an extremely belated sequel to the 1987 Famicom game GetsuFumaDen, and it was developed by indie team GuruGuru. This new game is a sidescrolling roguelike action game that utilizes beautiful Ukiyo-e-style visuals, and it has been available through Steam Early Access since May of last year. Now, the full thing is available on Switch.

Below is official information for GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon and its totally gorgeous Switch launch trailer:

Death is not the end: Defeat infernal foes until you die and carry on the fight with your eternal soul and memories in a new body! GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon combines intense Ukiyo-e style roguelike action with a stunning dark fantasy world, brought to life through traditional Japanese art. While death is not the end, the world of Hell lives and breathes, presenting new layouts and challenges to overcome with each attempt. GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon launches for Nintendo Switch … later today!

The February 2022 Nintendo Direct had the usual smorgasbord of big announcements, and although I’m still ready to die over the announcements of Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition and Live A Live in particular, there is plenty more where that came from.
