Get over here: Mortal Kombat 12 possibly leaks on purpose

Mortal Kombat 12 leak

It seems like only yesterday we were hearing news about the Mortal Kombat franchise. And while movie information is nice, what we really want is more tidbits on the next game. After all, Mortal Kombat 11 did launch on Nintendo Switch. Curiously, the potential follow-up, Mortal Kombat 12, might have had an “accidental” leak. This is all due to Jonathan Andersen, a producer at NetherRealm, who tweeted a photo that showed some juicy information for eagle-eyed gamers.

It’s been a few years since 11 was released, so a new Mortal Kombat makes sense

Have a gander at the picture below, which features artwork from NetherRealms’ past titles:

Mortal Kombat 12 leak

I do remember those Mortal Kombat arcade posters!

If you inspect the right monitor, you’ll see a file called “MK12_Mast.” In addition, an email is visible that states “don’t share any part of this video” and “take extra care with this material.” HMMMM.

Of course, this photo is no longer on Andersen’s Twitter, but the internet never forgets. Personally, I thought NetherRealms’ next game would be Injustice 3, but perhaps Warner is too busy with its own fighting game to want any more on the market.

Enthusiasts, do you believe this photo leaks Mortal Kombat 12? Let us know below.
