If you’ve been wondering how popular Genshin Impact is in Japan, to give you an idea, it will be the next franchise to get perfumes from the fragrance brand Primaniacs. We’ve seen other big series like Demon Slayer and Persona get their Primaniacs perfumes, and the miHoYo action RPG will get its own set this December in Japan.
Primaniacs is a popular brand known for its collaboration fragrances with various anime, manga, and video game series. The collaborations usually feature different fragrances based on popular characters. The Genshin Impact collaboration will feature six characters: Aether, Lumine, Kaeya, Diluc, Klee, and Mona.
Sora (Aether)
The first one is “Sora,” which is the Japanese name for the male main character (“Aether” in English). It’s a fresh scent with notes of citrus and crystal mint. It also has hints of bergamot, jasmine, sandalwood, amber, and other woodsy scents.
Hotaru
The second is for “Hotaru,” the Japanese name for the female protagonist (“Lumine” in English). Its scent blends sweet raspberry with spearmint. It also has notes of passion fruit to add to the sweetness.
Kaeya
The third Genshin Impact perfume is based on the Frostwind Swordsman Kaeya. It is a cool scent with notes of lime, eucalyptus, and tarragon. It also has hints of yuzu, narcissus, and floral musk going on.
Diluc
You might’ve expected something spicy for the Pyro character Diluc, but the fourth perfume focuses more on herbal scents like rosemary. The scent is mostly herbal but has a subtle sweetness to it with notes of eucalyptus, vervain, and grapes.
Klee
The fifth perfume features another Pyro character with Klee. The perfume is based on the cute and energetic characteristics of Klee with tons of sweet notes. It has a bunch of fruity notes from pear, raspberry, strawberry, vanilla, and more.
Mona
Lastly, the sixth Genshin Impact perfume features the Hydro character, Mona. It blends fresh and sweet with a mix of lychee and marine notes. The perfume has citric notes from grapefruit and lemon for the freshness and a touch of pineapple for the sweetness.
The Genshin Impact perfumes by Primaniacs will release in Japan on December 2, 2021. They’ll be available for 6,600 yen (~$59.94) each.
Genshin Impact is available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and smartphones. There’s still no word about the Nintendo Switch version, but it is still planned for the console. If you missed it, Aloy from Horizon: Zero Dawn recently joined the game.
